The Meaning Behind the Art

I’ve always felt like I have a foothold between two worlds: the one I live in, and the one I carry inside my imagination and for this painting, I wanted to create that feeling of being between two worlds, a moment before everything changes, where you’re standing on the precipice of a new adventure and by stepping through this portal into an entirely different world, full of possibility, you are choosing the unknown over the comfort of what’s familiar and safe. You are choosing courage when faced with uncertainty and showing what bravery truly is as you take that leap
