A poem I wrote to accompany the art:

I am rooted to the earth,
and yet I yearn for the sky.
If only I could grasp
how to fly, fly, fly.

If only I could climb
above stormy clouds,
and let go without falling
back to harder grounds.

If only I could grasp
how to fly, fly, fly,
then perhaps,
I'd belong
at such great heights
